View Full Version : FOOTBALL Please let the BCS championship be a SEC Big 12 affair

Penn State goes down. GOOD. Top 5 in BCS are BIG 12 or SEC. Only team outside that 5 for consideration should be USC but the PAC sux and they don't play a championship. Same goes for Big 10.
Undefeated TTech vs Undefeated AL would be a dream but I think it will end up being
OU vs UFL
Tenn has hit rock bottom. Wyoming? That's like Cheney beating Gore in a boxing match.
Cowboys on hiatus but Romo returns against Wash next week. Make or break game for the Cowboys.

RIP TEXAS TECH
OU beat you like a drum, unfortunately for you and your fans your fairy tale ended in a nightmare! Now that there is one less overated team in the picture, put the woman and children to bed and let the studs battle it out. Here's a clip from one of the TT coaches after the game ....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_N1OjGhIFc

In fairness to Tech no team I've seen in the last three years would have beat OU in that game. They were pumped and at home. I think OU is playing the best football in the Big 12 right now but assuming UT and OU win out I suspect UT will be in the BCS Champ game. I'd love to see Tech play UF or Bama in a bowl. On neutral ground they would make a good showing INMO.

Well, you would suspect ut to be in the BCS Champ Game. That sounds like some of that Brown politics. It will be the Sooners...

Big East champ University of Cincinnati & coach Brian Kelly are probably going to the Orange Bowl :clapping::dancing::clapping::.....to play (Boston College?)
It should be very interesting to see how well the Bearcats do in that type of national limelight.

Surprise, we don't agree AGAIN. Cheap cheese is orange, good cheddar is yellow, and GOOD cheese is usually a shade of white with a good wax rind.

Top of the line aged cheese goes out of my league for most things, but we like to do the "snack night" thing with the kids and hitting the market or Sam's for a diverse range of cheese is always a hit. Favorites seem to be Gouda and Havarti. I don't like Swiss, but the wife and son do. I haven't seen any limburger (sp?) in a long time, but Dad always liked it as a spread. Good if you can get it past your olfactories :) I have always been partial to smoked varieties as well. You used to be able to get a really good smoked white cheddar from the dairy counter at K-State, on campus. They real reason for going was the ice cream, but the cheese was top notch as well.

Whole Foods (or Whole Paycheck) has a good cheese section and variety.

They are from Boulder, hence the Boulder Hot Sauce  On your way back, you can usually get it at Safeway/City Market/King Soopers in this area.

...however at this point in time, there's an outside chance the Bearcats could still play in the Sugar Bowl in Louisiana.
But I'm sure you'll come up with some type of creative put-down for that too, Kiril! :waving:

I think the ones we get tend to be anaheims. At least where we buy them and have them roasted, they have signs saying "Hatch". They could be built in China with lead for all I know. But they are so goooood.
