23hp Kawasaki engine leaks gas from overflow tube when running, when it is shut off it will continue to leak for a little while. Dirty carb?

That or a bad float needle valve, I have one off the same engine I'm going back together with in the morning. Going to gravity feed it in my bench vise first, If it still floods I will install a new needle valve and be done with it.


Also check your fuel tank for trash, Flush the fuel lines and replace the fuel filter along with the plugs now since it has been ran flooding.
