I bought the hydro pump rebuild kits for this unit and am going to tackle this sometime after Thanksgiving. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I have the diagram that my supplier gave me to do it. I know to keep it real clean, any step by step instructions would be great. Do I drain the entire system first. One unit at a time or two. Etc.

If rebuilding the pumps it would be wise to change the oil and filter(s) anyway. Clean the entire unit first (pressure wash) to remove any dirt from the system line/hose fittings, Then drain all oil.
Remove one pump at a time then plug the pump and line/hose fittings as soon as removed, Then clean the pump again before tear-down.
As you stated cleanliness is the most important step one can take.
Good Luck
