I have an account (pre school) which I'm close to sending to a collection agency.
Does their credit status get affected by this?

How do you do that? I have a few customers that I've tried to get a hold of a ton of times, and they never get back to me. Some have had outstanding balances for almost 2 years now, and I'm pretty damn fed up.

Use a collection agency. I used Old Debts. I think they are a sponser on here now. I've only had to use a collection agency once and I got my money.

2 years? Wow, the statute of limitations is almost up on these:)
Make a good payment policy and stick to it like glue.

Find a local collection agency, and send the client to collections that way. Then you can atleast go to the collection office and collect any monies that is left.
