I know it's late... but last year I had thought about opening a tree lot, I know there's some good money to be made in it. What are some of the things that you need in order to open a tree lot that i may be overlooking? How do you go about opening a lot? Thanks

I did this a few years back and had to eat a lot of Christmas tree soup with the left overs. I over ordered. I ordered too manyof the bigger better trees and found I could have sold more of the lesser medium range trees as I ran out of them too early. Plus there were 7 other Christmas tree lots within 5 miles. I did make $12 profit after all was said and done. But it was a lot of hard work. But it was a learning experience.

If I were you & someone mentioned Christmas Tree Lot, or sales......RUN.
If you like left over Christmas Tree Soup! Need to pay a BFI dump fee to dispose of 56 left over trees that average cost was $16 delivered. Go in the tree business. For me, :dancing:Never again.
