Advise on removing pampass-grass

Would anybody care to make suggestions on the best/fastest way to remove pampass grass? I have a small (16hp) lawn tractor. Thanks.

get a hedge trimmer and cut right through it.

I meant .... remove it .... take it out of the ground ... make it go away ... sayonara ... 86'd ... history ... color it gone.

Dig it out is the only way,with a Bobcat or similar if its big or you dont want to use a shovel.It can be sprayed,you need to spray any seedlings that will come up later,it seeds good,We got the pesky stuff down here too,its been banned from being able to be planted in most areas,that should make it hit the road Jack.....
