Mulching.....

Last season was my first in the business and I bought some used equipment. One is a Lesco 36 inch hydro walk behind. I would like to swith to mulching this year so does anybody know if Lesco makes a mulching plate to cover the discharge slot?

Here is something you might consider- if you have an engine greater than 12.5 then you are probably in fine shape. I have a 12.5 Kaw/ on my 36 " Snapper and am not impressed w/ its mulching capabilities. I run Gators but the horse power just is not enouph. It takes SEVERAL passes to handle water oak leaves. Most other leaves mulch fine, but Tallahassee has an abundance of water oak. When I trade my Snapper in I am moving up to a 15 hp minimum! 12.5 hp does not handle running doubles as well. The engine will not pull me up an incline while running doubles.
