I have a 05 chevy 1500 and im looking for the fuse that charges a trailer battery.. Can anybody help me out??

in my 06 it was in the fuse box under the hood next to the battery!

They have 3 different fuse boxes ... sometime the trailer fuses are under the dash. But there is the one under the hood and another one on the driversdoor side of the dash. Most of my towing package fuses are under the dash, under the steering colum.

The main one is marked "Stud #1" in the underhood box. Normally has a 30 or 40 Amp fuse. If you use the factory/harness/recepticale for brakes and charging, it needs to be the 40. The brake controller harness plugs into the under dash panel. The top right pin on the outlet for the trailer is the B+ for charging. If you have trailer brakes, it charges the breakaway battery too.
