Do you have a side gate on that trailer to get all 3 on? We've got a 16" trailer and carry 2 big mowers and 1 small self-propelled w/ room to spare. We just bought 2 more mowers and want to carry 3 big ones at one time.

No side gate. Back them on and turn them sideways
Im a solo op that likes to be prepared.

Hmmm, maybe that will work for us. Worth a try. We've thought that we may have to extend our trailer.

wow..if your solo, why do you need to carry are the unnecessary equipment with you, i can see a backup mower with you, but all that. you must burn alot of fuel....i only carry on my trailer the equipment for the day, and don't have to worry about things getting stolen or broken.

12 ft trailer. 61in mower, 52 in mower, push mower in a basket over the front. Two green barrels and two catches. One two cycle can and one five gallon can. Two cones. Weed whackers on the rack blowers in the back of the truck. Everything has its place on the trailer. Im a bit OCD about where everything goes. Pull up take the cones off put them in the road, gates down barrels off. I can not stand moving stuff on the trailer at every lawn that your not going to use. For fall its a cluster F everything everywhere and we only carry one mower.

Does not affect fuel mileage whether the trailer is empty or all 3 mowers.
I always keep a mower with a bagger with me, then one is a 48 and the other is a 60. The 60 is set up to mulch and the 48 is side discharge. Each tool has its job and I prefer to have all my tools.

83 inches.
I wouldnt be able to turn them sideways if the sides were taller. It takes part of the back of the mower hanging over the sides.

i always thought the more weight, the more power it will take to move, would equal more fuel burning. well anyways, to his is own..good luck to ya!

Billslawn, he musnt keep track of fuel mileage. My truck gets anywhere from 17mpg(towing nothing, no weight in truck) to 8mpg(plowing...so low because alot of running with no mileage)...I get 12mpg with truck and trailer with no equipment(big equipment...all the little things never come out) with the big equipment I get 10.75 mpg....I'm always tracking mpg...gotta know all the numbers!

I keep track of my mileage with every fill up.
It does not change one bit. I can pull my gooseneck trailer with the tractor and the fuel mileage is the same as the landscape trailer.
