You can search "gas transfer tanks" on google.

You can also find these at Tractor Supply Company.

i have thought about seaching for something to put on my trailer, like what Super Lawn Trucks does. Its the tanks that are just behind the cab of the truck but I would mount them on the trailer somehow.

Have you heard of these or anyone doing this?

look through your trade magazines, I'm pretty sure there was a new one listed in landscape maintenance that mounted on-top of your trailer that was dual fuel and gravity fed.

where would you mount that on an enclosed trailer? ive been looking for something like that for years! Actually, FYI, Brimar is coming out with a new trailer line in 2009 that has them built in.

Yikes! $500 for that... And I wonder how LEGAL that is to carry around on a trailer or on top of the truck like they have pictured???

It would be worth $500 to me if it wasn't gravity feed. That takes forever---should at least have a built-in hand pump for the price.

I would guess that it *should* flow as fast as a gas can would, same gravity flow. As long as the hose isn't too small of a diameter...

That would be slick if you custom built a expanded metal, fully enclosed lockable rack, that it could fit snugly in on the front of the trailer.

Seems pretty expensive to me. You can get the 14 gal gas caddy for right around $100.

Northern Tool has a 15 Gal metal gas can that is DOT approved and is gravity fed for around 70 and i have to of them mounted in the top cage of my isuzu with the landscape body. They work wonderful. I am planning on mounting them on all my trucks soon. It saves me trips to the gas station and time for my guys to fill up the mowers and everything. I use one for mixed and one for reg. Gas. I woulndnt spend 500 on that plastick thing i would buy them from northern first and see how u like them. Plus the plastic one would probably get busted up on a trailer or truck.

I have a 11 gallon metal mounted on the side of my trailer we use for mixed gas . Works good welded a 5 inch piece of pipe to the side to hang the nozzle in.
