Ok guys i think there might be something wrong with my powerstroke. I drove 270 miles this weekend.... not a thing in my bed.. I only got 13 MPG My truck 2007 powerstroke 6.0. I used to get 17 on trips like this the truck only has 27k miles. Any suggestions?

What kind of boost are you getting ? Might be the EGR or Turbo sticking . My 07 did the same thing.

You probly have an EGR problem. Try cleaning it.

could be egr. Have you checked/changed all the normal maint. like fuel filters, oil, air filter? Wouldn't hurt to clean the egr even if that isn't whats causing poor mileage. http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/6-0-maintanence-info/63596-6-0l-egr-maintenance-cleaning-write-up.html

Try a fuel filter and air filter. Could be a bad batch of fuel too?

No that wont work, better suggest a fule filter or a bad batch of fule. That might do it....:laugh::laugh:
