Can't get the freakin' thing to work. Just click this link:
that is a metric conversion chart but you can put it into metric and back into standard. grab a calculator you will need it.

I don't have a table, but here is a basic formula for calculating mulch, top soil, etc. It is just basic math.

Volume = Surface Area x Depth

Start with your figures in feet.

For instance if an area is 50 feet by 100 feet it is 5000 square feet.
That is your area.

To convert your depth into feet, multiply the number of inches by .083 (1 inch is .083 feet)
For instance 3 inches deep is .25 feet. 4 inches is .33, etc.

Multiply area (5000 square feet) by depth (.25 square feet)
The answer is 1,250 cubic feet.

Divide by 27 (the number of cubic feet in a cubic yard) to get cubic yards.

1,250 divided by 27 = 46.3 cubic yards.

Hope this helps.

I have a program called convert.exe that some friendly soul from LS shared with me a while back. I could send it to you if you like, e-mail me.

There is a free program at " joshmadison.com" that may be helpful. It may no be exactly what you are looking for, but I'm sure it will come in handy sometimes.
