we were originally looking for 08's b/c we could get xplan and like 8K in rebates (7K for financing and 1K for using xplan) but there really wasnt any left in what we wanted.
Ricart is like a mega dealer located SE of columbus and they had 09's delivered in like oct. but the 09's didnt have as many rebates as did the 08s. The truck listed for 53,897, then they lowered the price to 48,897, and now ford offers employee pricing plus which brought it down to 46,635 and then down to 45,635(the plus part) less our trade in of my monte carlo and then add tax, extended bumper to bumper warranty, rust protection package (10yr rust warranty), paint protection, leather protection, carpet protection, weather tech floormats for $100(they run $310) and they threw in a free spray in bedliner, we got the truck for 44,xxx out the door.
09 F350 Lariat, Crew Cab, long bed, diesel, loaded with all the options except navi and moon roof.

the two black ones they had were center consoles, the one we got has the front bench. i think the fold down console on the bench is much more comfortable, plus we can seat six, and beside the black ones didnt have the 6cd changer like ours does!

Beautiful truck indeed! I made the mistake spending 40K on a work truck once. Never again.... not possible to keep them in great condition doing this kind of work. I now drive a luxury SUV for personal use and plan to never again buy such a pretty truck for work!

ya, we are from the cleveland area, so they were about 2.5hr drive down for us. we always saw the dealership right off rt. 33 on our way to go quadding at wayne national forest.
the only thing its getting used for work is plowing. we have our dump and our other pickup for lawn duties. we needed another truck for plowing this year and since i got rid of my car, we needed a nice personal vehicle as well.

Oh, I thought you were from around the area, if you were I was going to ask if you had ever heard of dad's old company...

Why someone would plow with a brand new decked out 09 is beyond me. Congrats on the nice truck though.

if you would have read my previous post, i explained why.
when we first considered buying a new truck, we werent going to use it for anything except a personal vehicle for about three years, then start putting it to work.
my monte was giving us headaches, we picked up alot of new plowing accounts and therefore we were between a rock and a hard place, you think i really wanted to throw a plow on this bad boy?? besides, now we will have full warranty coverage during plowing.
this thing is only doing our resi accounts (100+) with our other pickup, the dump is moved to the commercial stuff.
