mini z 19hp with bac vac?

i came across a thread on another site from 2005 or 2006 where you indicated that the 19hp kaw was marginal with the bac vac. does that hold true with the newer models?

Yes, still marginal.
If you drive slow and are cutting average grass and picking up average leaves it will work.

On a 44" Mini Z a 25hp will do excellent, plenty of power.

One of my best friends runs a bac vac with a 19/52. He cuts 7 acres and bags about 5-6 times a year. He loves this set up. More power is available, but at a higher $.

Wouldn't a bigger/better carb make more power?
