View Full Version : Any one located near me??

Curious if anybody here is located near or in Council Bluffs, IA. Have tried talking with a few local companies to try and get advice and an estimate on what they price so I can competitive with everyone else and not be a low baller and not much help they must think I will get an acount they wont?? I know most a probably freindly but I have not found them yet

Hey, I'm from Sioux City. Wouldn't think the markets would be that different. I'm in kinda the same boat. Haven't had much luck finding out what others in town charge. Have learned alot by reading on this forum and have discovered not to worry so much what they charge but what your costs are and to charge accordingly. By bidding accounts you'll find out also what the market will bear.

Used to pass thru your area alot before getting laid off and starting the Lawn Care Service. I know a couple company if I can call them a company that really low ball they have took 2 $30.00 accounts from me last season which I mow/mulch, trim, blow walkways off etc and are charging them $15.00 to do the same exept they bag and take clipping with them. Who knows what they are thinking and they have some high dollar equipment I know for a fact they have done the same to a couple others I know No matter the size of the residential yard they charge $15.00, Last year there was a crew in one of my nieghborhoods looking for them dont know if they found them or not must of taken some of there accounts to ? I just figured the small guys like myself would want to talk to keep the prices close, not like one company can handle the entire city as some think they can?? Oh well just venting Good luck to you let me know anytime you need anything I will try and help

i'm in S.E. Iowa near Burlington.

i average $45 per acre, but it depends on what makes you money.

ever need anything, drop me a line.

i have a few friends that work on the casinos there, i get there from time to time.
