I like reading all your comments about trucks, so what do you think about this one? These guys have a great rating and the truck looks to be priced right.

Very nice looking truck, Very good year for the powerstroke as well. Dealer is dumb saying it has white interior. I always look at that, it can tell you what the dealer actually knows about a vehicle.

Very clean truck, has a few imperfections but it is older. Looks like they beefed the rear suspension so it probably did a good bit of bumper pull towing. Good to see no gooseneck, so thats a plus.

Engine is spotless! They did a good job cleaning it. Looks like the interior is in good condition, you pobably wont like the captains chairs, but it looks to have some good options. Looks like it had straight pipe as well.

Looks like it only has one key, but not even the original. I hate that, cuz that mean the other keys are out there, maybe the previous owner still has em...But i hope it has the keyless entry clicker, cuz it came with it from the factory!

Well the armrests are usually pretty easy to break, and alot of people like their woman to sit next to them! :laugh:

How much would you guys say that truck is worth? i look all the time, i see alot of the guys on here saying things are overpriced but i don't always believe it. I would not be able to get that truck up in Jersey for $20,000 people probably would list it for more like $23000.00 I've been very patient waiting for a great deal since i have time to buy. By the way I thought the captains chair would be easier on the back, all my trucks have always been bench seats and driving long distances sometimes I can't get a good recline angle on them.

Fords bench seat is catains chairs without the arm rest. It just has a third seat in the middle with a big console. They recline and everything. that truck is worth about 15k.

This is true. But in my opinion the 6.0's aren't that bad either. I would never buy the 6.4 though

I gave 18,500 for my 2000 with 105,000 on it 2 years ago. NADA was 22,000. 7.3 crew cab swb. I don't think the price was too far off. It should probably be a shade lower with the economy like it is....iddunno

Man i just looked through their other listings and they have some gorgeous trucks!

Yeah, up to 167,000 now. Added a chip and 4" straight exhaust plus digital monitoring system.....it still lost some value.....but I love it!

BTW.... I was reffering to the current selling price of the truck starting the thread, it was not too far off.(it was comparable to mine) Should probably be a shade lower.

The miles make that truck worth more, but around here that long bed would hurt the value. A crew short bed with that miles would bring that much. I've got a few friends that are dealers and they say that trucks like my 01 and regular cab long beds are in high demand still, at least compared to other cab/bed configurations.
