Any one know what the restrictions if any are on Hydro operation in sub freezing temps ?
Will the oil/motors run after a warm up period or is the cold conditions a negative to attempt.
I need to remove a unit from a trailer in storage (unheated) it's -0- degrees.
Wondering if I need to drag it to work and off load in the ware house when warm after a few hours.

I beleive that if you can get the engine to run than the hydros will be fine .

It's probably not any good in the long term. Lubrication and flow properties are'nt that great when the oil is cold.

Just like motor oil, it's not a bad idea to warm up with light work. No rabbit starts.

I got it started and let it run for over 20 minutes.
Decided to use the hydro release function on this Ferris.
Disengages to allow manual movement, played it safe.
