I am renovating a lawn, and have decided instead of simply adding a layer of topsoil to the lawn and seeding it, to use compost to amend the soil already there. This will be less labor intensive than spreading the top soil and I hope to avoid drainage problems this way.
My question is, Is compro (human waste compost) worth twice the cost of leaf-gro (leaf compost). I have used compro when seeding before and had excellent results but this area is fairly large and we are talking about a large price difference. Have any of you used leaf-gro when seeding, and what kind of results did you have?
