What are your individual experiences with Redmax equipment, I have none and would like to hear your opinion, specifically weedwackers.

I have an opportunity to pick up the Redmax EBZ8001 blower & the Redmax BCZ3001 wacker for 650 cash brand new but have never used this specific manufactures stuff.

Thanks in advance

I personally love the redmax blower, I bought a ebz7001 and it works just as good as the 8001 for a bit cheaper and lighter! Weedwhackers ... I used one superrrr fast and worked better then the echoes we got but that went to **** in a year, might of been the redmax oil I think

I love all of my Redmax stuff... I have two trimmers, One edger, Two blowers (1 7001 and 1 4401) and I just picked up a new 7100 today. I have hardly any problems with them and when I do they are minor. Hope my opinion helps.

I was wondering the same thing are the red max blowers stronger then the echos?

The redmax 8001 has a bigger engine than the biggest echo machine.

They are cold starting, but if you choke them and prime them and put the throttle on full throttle. (like they tell you in the manual) they will start on the second or third pull. A 30 second warm up time and they are good to go.

I love my Redmax stuff. I never had a problem with them other than changing the plugs and cleaning the spark arrester screen. Which is normal maintenance. They are good quality pieces of equipment. I did switch my trimmer head for the speed feed head. ( once the original head wore out.)

ive had several and i think that they're a top notch company. IMO the equipment is just as good as stihl, though all mine ive bought used for back-up. so ive never had any new that ive kept long term. biggest thing for me is dealer support. but i think they make good stuff.

I am a stihl guy, but i absolutely love redmax trimmers. They are so light and so comfortable. I can get the straightest and tallest edges with a redmax over any other brand. My opinion is that they only perform well for lawn care not heavy duty landscaping needs. they also are known for carb problems but id say its worth it in comfort. I use one red max and all stihl fs 100rx. There all great and eaither brand will work.

I have basically all redmax equipment, very few problems with them.

Ditto. My 5-6+yr old trimmer and 3+yr old HH blower have essentially been flawless. (...knocking on wood...) :walking:
