View Full Version : For sale: Chevy 3500hd flatbed dually

I have for sale a 2000 Chevy 3500HD flatbed dually. The truck has a 6.5L Diesel engine, and 165,000 miles on it. I recently replaced the fuel injection pump, fuel pumps on both gas tanks, and the PMD. I had the bench seat reupholestered at the beginning of the season, as the cloth seat had ripped on the driver side where the seats always rip at. Truck is in great shape. We originally used it to pull a trailer, and last year made it our fertilizing truck with tanks on the back. The front bumper in the picture shows a dent near the license plate. This was also recently replaced with a brand new bumper.

The reason for selling is the fertilizing division is growing, ad we need to add additional tanks. I am looking to purchase a different vehicle for this division to better suit our needs.

Asking price is $8250.00. Thanks for looking.

Does this have a gooseneck ball on it I know that it isn't sticking up right now but wasn't sure if it was flipped down?

No it does not. Am looking to purchase a gooseneck to haul the tractor, but going to put it on my 04 2500hd duramax.

How long is the bed? it looks like it may be longer than 8'. Also is that a pool of oil or tranny fluid in the second picture? Would a gooseneck be able to be cut into this bed?

Almost positive that the bed is 8' long. I will have to measure for sure though. The puddle in the 2nd picture is oil. I change all of my own oil, and sometimes miss the catch pan. There is also a small stain on the other side of the driveway where the same thing happened.

I do not know what is needed to cut a gooseneck into a truck? If you have some specific questions in reference to this to where you might be able to explain what you are looking for - I can help you out a little better. My apologies for not knowing much about the gooseneck aspect.

let me think about it. Where are you located at. I am going to be in Mt. Carmel IL this weekend to meet my girlfriend. I may want to look at it this weekend. Let me know what would work for you and I will think about it a little more.

Thanks - want to buy it?

Power locks or windows? That engine in that truck is awesome. I've got the same one in my 2500 and so far no problems.

The truck does not have power windows or locks. I got back to the shop later in the evening tonight after dark, but was able to snap some photos of the interior. If the pictures are too dark and you would like to see some of the interior - let me know and I will be happy to get some tomorrow.

Does it dump?

Truck does not dump. You could always put a hoist underneath of it. I have never done this, but I believe those things only cost about $1000.00...
