I'd be interested to see if I could pick up a quarter with an excavator that had a thumb without having to grab a bucketful of dirt with it.

I wouldn't even be able to see in on the ground from the big excavator. I may just try it with the mini oneday... any other takers?

If I had a mini I'd try it. Maybe I'll attempt it on the 490 Deere. The thumb is just terrible so I'll have to try to grab it on the bucket tooth.

If you mean takers with video cameras then that I am not, but I'll see if I can't get it.

I'll do the cups when I get a camera, but I am not trying a quarter, well I might but if it isnt succesful the first time with out the camera then I aint doing it with the camera.

Since I told yall I would do the stacking the cups thing we havent rented a piece of equipment since then..

Picking up change is no big deal. At least with a forklift. I used to be able to do it with a dime. Its all about the downpressure on the forks.

kreft
12-15-2008, 04:27 PM
I'm sure you could do it with a skid to right?

bmh1202
12-15-2008, 08:25 PM
Dont see why not. As long as the cutting edge is straight enough.

Junior M
12-15-2008, 08:31 PM
Just use forks on a skid, and then try it with a bucket..

Dirtman2007

I'm going to try it with the mini tomorrow.

Dirtman did you try it with the mini ex?

I was rushed a did not have time, had to fix a leaking terd pipe this morning and after what I went through and had to deal with, then the sudden down pour of rain I did not get a chance to try it. I'll give it a shot tomorrow though.

Impressive, but I have done it too...I'm sure no one will believe me...nature of the internet. It wasn't easy, and I certainly was bored at the plant I used to weld at prior to doing lawns...honing skills like that explains why I am no longer in the employ at said plant

Thats impressive, but let me see someone put the coin back in the pants pocket of your favorite laborer. I was doing well until I broke his hip bone. Not surprisingly he labored at the same rate after the "accident" as he did before the "accident". Anyone need a job?

Well I did give it a try, I only had a nickel and I fail to be able to pick it up with the mini, all I managed to do was put a nice white scratch in the asphalt. Was I suppose to be able to pick it up or flip it like in the video? I bring a quarter tomorrow.

The good news is I think I got it figured out. I just need a new "laborer" to test my theory. Junior come on out and if my theory doesn't pan out. I will see that you get a handicapped parking sticker for you new 3500.:clapping:

Pick it up. Not flip it up. Doing it on dirt would be acceptable as well.

I wonder what a prius would look like with a 3,500 pound deckover behind it? Hmmm

I used to watch Jeff Dunham on Showtime before you grasshoppers were born... before he was well known. He's a funny dude. I like the Mexican jalapeno dude... Jose I think.

Just go through the cached, google youtube and where it says similar pages it will say cached just to the left of that. That was earlier in the year when everything was relatively new and easy to get through the holes in the system, like through a link or other wise, now they've got it really tight, I can get on there through the cached or through the occasional link, there hit and miss, but it wont ever load... There is a website you can go to to get past the proxy but I dont remember at the moment. I'll find out tomorrow...

Yeah, that Jose Jalapeno on a Steeeek!
