Is there an automotive oil filter for the 20 H.P. Magnum engine?

Do your self a favor and use the Kohler part.

NAPA 1348 or WIX 51348. Quality filters at a more reasonable price than OEM.

With a name like "Dutch" its no surprise you would suggest a low priced after market oil filter. Just pitching ya crap

I use the Wix when I can. Napa filters are Wix too. Depending on where you buy your Kohler filters it's a $2 to $4 savings per filter. Is the Wix better than the Kohler? I have no idea. I hope it's not worse, lol. I change mine with every oil change, crap on that "every other" garbage.

Wix, NAPA Gold and CarQuest Premium are the same filter, just different paint!
Excellent filters!
Kohler are made by the lowest bidder that meets their standards. Probably made by Champion. Champion makes filters from exceptional (Mobil 1) quality to average quick lube brands.
I'm pretty sure the Kohler branded filter is a better than average filter, but I know for sure the Wix is top line,
Either are better than buying a John Deere filter and getting yourself a FRAM!

When we started mowing commercially and using enough oil and filters in our Kohlers that cost became a consideration I did a whole bunch of Internet filter searching and found that a person can get any opinion he wises to believe when it comes to OEM VS framwixolator filters. From "makes no difference" to "will blow'em up as fast as you screw'em on". I then did what I should have done to start with and cut open a OEM filter that was still occupying my trash can and went to town and bought a Std Purolator and the hi buck Purolator One (the brand available closest to the shop) and cut them open too. I no longer buy OEM filters, I don't buy the Pure one either. Guess you now know my opinion? Next oil change I suggest you do the same. It will only cost you $4 and a trip to town to buy which ever pleases you. In my opinionated opinion keeping the oil changed per schedule is a whole lot more basic to long engine life than magic filters and fluids.

Yes sir, much like those $9 spark plugs the dealer and everyone else acts like they are such a super special part
one day it got me to looking deep in the research section just to find out it's neither Iridium nor Platinum but standard
copper core nickel plate like every other stupid POS part out there.

Oil filters, same thing, everyone might act like it's made of gold, but it's not.

So I use exclusively Advance Auto Parts red storebrand filters, they look pretty
and have a grippy surface and cost about $3 each.

Not sure on the 20hp Kohler, my 15hp's run the AA3614

You DO have to change the oil regularly, but forget paying $15+tax a filter for nothing special.
