I know someone who does...
Your local Caterpillar dealership!
Really its hard to get prices from people in different regions, prices for equipment vary everywhere..
I'm getting quoted $66k for a fully loaded 289c. Another contractor I'm talking with is looking at a 299c for $79k. Hope this helps give you a ball park. Again, pricing in every region is different. Good luck.

I always have thought of the 289C as the vertical path verson of the 279C.

I would like to see them side by side comparison with the Takeuchi. If the Takeuchi out performs it then you could save a bundle with the Tak. vs. the Cat. You could probably get in a TL250 cheaper then a Cat 297C.

Last night I had a dream that I was sitting down (in a sheer act of desparation) to trade my darling Kitty off for a 279C, too bad I woke up, that was a beautiful feeling, just like the time I had a dream about my girlfriend and we went to band camp together.................

Please let me finish. The girlfriend found that the band camp conductor had a bigger/better "instrument" and she started throwing rocks at you.
Am I close?:canadaflag:

i loved the 289c we have a 287b the 289 rides just as smooth as the 87 that is one of the main reasons we bought our 287b was because of the ride well soon as spring time comes around say good buy to the 87 bring on the 289 they did alot of improvements on the C series machines compared to the b series the undercarage looks practically bulet proof i like the fact they have a 2 speed in them now long as the drive motor hoses will last tthat has been a prob with my 287b the competition better step up there game. In my opinion the competition is behind
