Hi everyone, I am new to this site and I hope you can help me . I have a GTX20 that is having hydro trouble. I bought it used a year ago. After 6months I noticed that the power steering took a longer and longer time to begin to work after starting. I figured it was maybe due to low fluid but the level seemed fine. At that time there were no fluid leaks anywhere that I could see. I have noticed that recently there has been small amounts of fluid under the tractor. Not enough to be a major loss of fluid but enough to notice. I looked over what I could see easily but haven’t found the source of the fluid leak. I’ve been keeping an eye on the fluid but it hasn’t been going down much. In recent days, it seems that the problem is also affecting the forward and reverse movement of the tractor. Yesterday I had to wait 10 minutes or so before I could get it to move and when it did it was slow to move forward (wouldn’t move in reverse at all). I decided to turn it around and head back for the shed when everything all of a sudden started working fine. I just don’t understand why such a dramatic change. I would think that there is either enough fluid and pressure to run things or there isn’t. BTW, I’m also not sure if I should be checking the fluid level when the unit is hot or when it’s cold. The dipstick doesn’t say and I don’t have the manual. Sorry for the long story. Please help with any advise if you can. In the meantime I’m going to try to find the small leak as that my shed some additional light on the issue. Thank you in advance for your suggestions
