A few days ago I got a call from the Orange County sheriffs department for an hourly price for some work as I am an Orange county contractor. I give them the county rate and ask as to why they need my services. He said in a few days they will be needing to move some debris and please dont say anything as it is a HIGH profile case. It was the casey anthony case. They finished up the forensic investigation today and needed all the debris they sifted through put back into the woods and the road cleaned up. I got there at noon and they finished up at about 2pm. I got to talk to some investigators as well as a few FBI guys. I didnt ask, and dont want to know any specifics, just some general stuff. I thought about bringing a camera then quickly dismissed that idea as it is a very active site. When we finished up we loaded up an left the area with the sheriffs department as a large carvan.
Interesting day to say the lease.

They just didnt want the news or others to know when they where going to release the site to the public. It was almost like walmart on black friday when they took the tape down and let people go look over the site.

I just have to ask.
If they have you do "top secret" work on crime scenes and ask you to keep quiet.
Is it really a good idea to post it on a public forum?

There is nothing top secret about what he did. They hired him to put the area back the way it was prior to them tearing it apart looking evidence of the crime. It was sensitive prior to the area being opened up to the public, not at the time he posted the information. I am sure it was very interesting. I am sure he learned nothing at the scene that isn't available to the public.

X2. I see nothing wrong and the sheriffs office wouldn't have someone come in if the case was still sensitive.

Thats the point i was trying to make but guess I didnt get it across. I found out before they released the scene. I posted after the job was complete and the scene released. There is nothing that anyone in the world cant go and see now. I was asked to keep quiet about then i was to arrive as to not give out the time that the scene was to be released.
