Hey guys we just got a new (to us) trailer. We bought one since the day after thanksgiving someone decided they needed my trailer more then i did, but oh well we got a new one now. It's an 18 ft 7000lb axels pipetop we shall see how it will perform for us. Let me know what everyone thinks. I think i got a steal on it, I only paid $2000 for it and its only 4 months old.

at that price you might want to check with the guy you bought it from to see what he knows about your other trailer

it was clean i promise he got it from the same dealer i got my old trailer that they stole. I called my dealer to make sure it was his trailer that he built and that it was the right owner.

it's going to be used to carry my mowing equipment and heavy tree service as well. And no, the ranger danger, lol, is not going to pull it,it's the princess of the trucks lol, the f-250 is going to pull it. The ranger is just for cruising around it has hid projector headlights and a sounds system in it i'll post some pics later today. Quick question i'm installing the brake controller what's a good brake controller i can get for an 03 f-250

prices for a new one just like that are $3800 and above here in houston. this one is basically new and in good shape. My old trailer was a high raised 16 ft but with 3500 lbs axels this is a 7,000 lbs axels

Why did you get 7k axles, your goin to haul mowers, doesnt seem like much of a need to have that heavy of axles..

well the trailer is hauling two zero turns two 32" and two 21" so it's a good amount of weight. the trailer is not just for lawns equipment we do lots of tree service and we take the trunks so we'll use it for both

They dont wiegh over 12k pounds! Its understandable since your hauling trees with it, but all those mowers dont wieght 12k. (guessing on the wieght of the trailer)

i need it for multiple things, we do a good amount of tree service, landscaping, mowing and pavements. so we need something that we can use for everything but i do agree about mowers not being that heavy but all those mowers on a 18 ft trailer with 3,000 lbs axels take a toll when on the road. the roads here in houston are not pretty to many pot holes and with a good amount of weight on a small trailer can take its toll. but but i really appreciate the comment or comments this is what i like, different opinions.

Yeah, I understand if you are hauling more than just mowers, but if you were hauling just mowers having that heavy of a trailer is just absurd imo...

Better to have too big of trailer vs. too small. I wish mine was bigger, so that way when I rent a Bobcat or compact tractor for some misc project I am working on, I could use my trailer instead of the crappy single axle, no brakes equipment trailers the rental places give you.

i agree most people use trailers mostly for one type of business but we do several and we're still trying to expand to where i have a trailer for every type of job and not one doing it all but thanks again for the comments i appreciate them
