I am looking to build two scoreboards: One for softball only / One that has baseball on one side & soccer on the other side. Both will use number plates (have made by sign co.) I have looked for different designs but no luck. I was going to weld a 1" by 1.5" square tubing frame (total size of 4' by 10' / I have found 4'2" by 10'2" White Alum sheets from a truck trailer body repair center) The scoreboards will be for high school sports only. I am building & paying for this project myself so any help in design will be great! The sign co. has look for a design layout to do the job but has not found any but the electric setup. Thanks for your help.

These designs all include electronics, but you may find some measurements or suggestions that help you in one of the articles at this site: Silicon Chip Electronics Magazine for Hobby Electronics (http://www.siliconchip.com.au/cms/search/search.html?client=pub-8181586466385082&forid=1&channel=3715419683&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&cof=GALT%3A%232B8055%3BGL%3A1%3BDIV%3A%23f4f4f4%3BVLC%3A551A8B%3BAH%3Acenter%3BBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BLBGC%3 A990033%3BALC%3A0000FF%3BLC%3A0000FF%3BT%3A000000%3BGFNT%3A999999%3BGIMP%3A999999%3BFORID%3A11&hl=en&domains=siliconchip.com.au&q=scoreboard&sa=Search&sitesearch=siliconchip.com.au). Honestly if it was me I would go to a field and do some measurments of one and take tons of photos from all angles to look at.

You can alter the size to fit your needs or make any custom changes also for what you are looking for.

Is electricity your problem? The park I work for entered into a contract w/coke and part of the contract is receiving scoreboards or money to purchase them.
