Looking for the board schematic for this unit. I’ve come across several of these units that blow up the battery back-up for the memory for when the power goes out, I think the battery is being over charged or power from the board is going to the battery. If I can find witch transistor controls the circuit and replace it I can save some of these boards. A $3 transistor at radio shake is way cheaper than a new board. Thank you for your time

Although I realize this concerns a repair I am thinking you might

Only thing I can think of when I hear the name brand Rain Bird....

I can't help you with the schematic....but am interested in what is happening? I don't think these things have a battery charger?
