As long as I have the parking brake engaged----she'll run like a clock

but as soon as I disengage the parking brakc---she'll stop

Its happened more than once and it kinda corrects itself

About the only thing I can figure is---there's some malfunction in the parking brake sensor or in the steering control levers

Sounds like the parking brake sensor is bad or something but I can't figure it out

any help out there I sure would appreciate-----I'm right in the middle of leaf mulching season and need it back on the trailer asap

David,

It could be the parking brake switch or the seat switch, The best way to determine which is testing each with a multimeter while un-plugged with the meter set on ohm's scale.

My first guess would be a seat switch.
It "thinks" no one is in the seat-

What's the model#
That allows one to download the manual which MIGHT have a schematic to enable one to more intelligently troubleshoot the problem-
