I got myself one of those movin picture takers! Yep, I gots myself a video camera, so as soon as I figure the dam thing out, and get a machine out here, I'll have some video up from that clearing job, and a drainage job we got once we get back from Ohio.I might even video part of my hunt while I am in Ohio and post that for your viewing pleasure!

So one day at lunch on that clearing job I am goin to stack some cups, if the wind isnt blowing. and as most of you know I wont have my(the rental companies, is that better CAT?) trusty 335 on that job, I'll have the freakn 337 or possibly the 442 :cool2: That would be nice!

Your? Don't you mean the rental company's?

Prepare for some "constructive" criticism, Junior.

I can see it already............5 years from now you'll be receiving the "Best New Director" award from the international film critics society in Cannes! And it all started with a video camera on a clearing job in SC. Just remember your friends at Lawnsite Junior when fame and fortune is yours!::cool2:

Bahaha, yeah. and Yall will get to watch the camera fall off and the machine land right on top of it as I am diggin out a stump.. bahah, actually I was thinking of making something up to screw into the threads on the bottom of the camera, 90 off of there to the handle on the ROPS, and then like pipe clamp that to the handle, Hey, I could make it out of 1/2in PVC to, hmm have to get a machine to the house and see what we can do!

Get some good thick zipties and ziptie the camera handle to the ROPS. They use the big zipties as handcuffs when they arrest a ton of people at once and don't have enough traditional handcuffs. I think they can handle a video camera.

Remember to edit all your videos with something like Window's Movie Maker, it's easy once you try it, and then no one has to look at your back side while you strategically place the camera and walk back to the excavator.

Someone might enjoy that though Ron! Why would I want to edit that out?

Chris, I tried that, it said that I had to install the program for it to work, I guess cause its a dvd/memory card camera. I dont know..
