If you were getting a 289C cat would you opt for glass or poly carb for the front door?
Thanks:canadaflag:

if you aren't doing any mulching, get glass and the door will seal better. If you do any mowing or mulching, get poly only or you could get hurt.

I ordered my 297c with glass but it came with poly. They replaced it before turning it over to me but I got to try the machine out in the yard before they changed the poly door and it was very flimmsy. The glass is way more rigid and it seals way better. I would never consider poly for my needs.

Neither, I would order mine with out the window, and have my local window installer do one up like on my 247, it's thicker and stronger with a nice green tint to it.

Do you have a pic of your custom door?

The company name that did it for me is Concept Heavy Equipment windows, based out of Langley, everyone here uses him.

Ah, Ron, you didnt post the one with the big ole scratch in it, that got there what, two or three days after getting it?

It really depends on what your doing, If your doing just dirtwork like CCstrebe then glass is fine, but if your mulching and things like Yellow, you definetly need Poly. From what you've told us before glass sounds like it would work for you because it would seal better..
