Kohler RPM?

Anyone know what the proper rpm is for a 25hp kohler? Need the idle and proper operating rpm. New motor and just want to make sure its right.

depending upon application it would be best to consult either kohler or the machine maker customer service
The issue here is Do u have a quality tool to check rpm ??
1/ inductive tacho [clips on to coil lead ]
or
2/ infared /reflective tape type [place tape on pulley ,point meter at tape press button and u have a reading ]

Idle is good around 1500/1700 and high speed no load 3600/3750, The high speed is determined by the equipment manufacturer. A better number would be the 3750 as per Dixie Chopper and others so your still above 3600 under load having greater blade tip speed.
