We had some guys around here years ago that would put a lawn tractor in the back of a pickup.to top it off a guy would then ride on the mower while the other one drove around!

I have to say I would rather see someone trying to work than living off of my sweat like so many do.

Ya he is trying. Got to give him credit. Better than watching TV and drinking beer all day living on welfare. That is one thing about this business, people that need work FAST go to mowing a few lawns with whatever equipment they can afford.

I dont see any logo, or co. name on his car or trailer. I have several friends that own multiple apartment houses, and run setups just like that one to get around and mow their properties.
Is he mowing the Micky D's? Or just parked there for lunch?

i know they may not have the nicest equipment but they can at least try to organize a little so they look a bit more proffesional

That is exactly right. It is not all about your equipment and experience, a lot of it is first impression and having the look of caring about your work, i.e. organized cart or trailer, have all supplies needed, wear decent clean clothes while working etc. This is all important.

He probably has personal use auto insurance that has a commercial use exclusion. If he hits you while he is in the course of for-profit activity, he is effectively uninsured. One more reason to make sure you carry enough uninsured motorist coverage.

Man this site has gotten better. Two years ago everybody would be on this pic saying how unprofessional that is and give some scrub story on how they lost money. Seems like everybody treats the kids nicer on here too. Ya gotta start somewhere.
