i need to learn how to quote peoples post to reply but...
trailer is 16 long and i think 7 or 7.5 wide i got about 6 inches to spare when loading my 52 with ultra vac...i already wish i had a 8 by 20 but oh well
trailer needs break away brakes that function, brakes on all axles, lights must be working, tire tread is inspected (i had to buy tires for the rear axle) i unloaded the trailer for inspection but my i CAN tie down my mowers...not that i always do because some lawns are with in a few hundred yards in neighborhoods... i think i should pass but if not ill just fix what needs to be fixed
i also carry 3 orange triangles, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, 2 chock blocks, spare bulbs and fuses...
ill post a few projects in a min...

To quote someone, instead of clicking post reply, look at the post that you want to quote and it will have a small green quote button in the lower right corner. Just hit that and it will automatically bring you to a reply with the quote already there for you. Hope this helps.

first walkway i ever did for my own business (parents house) i cant find pics from after sod was installed,
a water feature/ dry stream, i removed about 10 large burning bush, and a lot of ground juniper... (home owner ended up doing the planting:hammerhead:)
haha you can see some stripes in the last pic, although my dad still thinks his cub cadet from home depot does a better job cutting...

theres a conversion kit you can find on the internet or from northern tool, it works good for light material...leaves, clipping, 3 yrds of mulch, but its not the strongest. i like having the stock apperance of my truck at all times, but i will honestly tell you a dump insert is more rugged

Yea the dump inserts are pretty nice my friends dad has one but i honestly dont see the point of riding around with a 500lb insert in your truck and plus like you said i rather have my truck look stock. Thanks for the info. Your truck is really nice!!!

I hear the beds tend to "wobble" with the kits like that. Pics look great by the way. Good luck on your inspection

there are alot of things when doing the conversion...to keep the factory bumper i had to get a custome trailer hitch made that is pushed back so when the bumper swings it dosent hit the hitch, and i have to remove the ball/ pentle when dumping.
the filler neck has to be relocated to the wheel well, or else the bed needs to be raised to fill up, i also put a rubber bag around the fuel cap so no road debris enters the tank
the bed can wobble... but theres ways to solve this, rubber bushing can be but on the frame rails, also i have a tool box that weight a lot when full and that acts as a weight on the front of the bed.
when my leaf box is on i use two short tow straps to strap the bed to the frame on each side. its kind of a pain, but there is no wobble and beats shoveling

well i passed, or should i say my trailer pased.
this new system is so unorganized i was given a paper sticker, just like the ones used for vechile inspections, but for vechiles they mount inside of the windshield, so im going to have to laminate the paper sticker and glue or attach it to my trailer toung
well i have to go put the trailer away, should be fun in the dark

i think untill the end of this month...im not sure but i know a lot of people who havent done it or even know about it yet.
as long as ur lights work, u got brakes on all axles, and a break away brake you should be fine, it cost me like 71 bucks

WHAT. There's no sticker to put on the trailer? I figured they would do some sort of sticker like the registration sticker on the back license plates. How is Dot going to know if it is inspected or not. Guess they will just pull you over and then see that it was. Oh and since you are already pulled over might as well run your info and do a safety check. What a bunch of idiots.

the sticker looks like the one on our windshields but its paper so it wont last stuck to the outside of a trailer
uranus have u ever used a walker? you gotta see it doing leaves....

Never used one. Sat on one once. I hear they are great on cleanups but I'd have to demo one first. One thing that keeps me from looking into them is they don't bag with a deck over 48 inches. If I ever bought a 48 it would be a walk behind.

they came out with a 52 bagging deck, i think, but 52 isnt much more than a 48

you can try mine if you want, i picked it up from Breeze at the end of the season, its SLOW compaired to the lazer but i do like it
