Hey everybody-
Just thought I'd share a few pics of my new shop, same building I was in before, just moved down 2 units. 16x30, 12x12 door, service door, 180 psi air line, in-floor heat (I don't use it) only 7 years old for $100 per month!

A view from outside, it's in the same building as a carwash, easy to wash off the equipment quickly

Still have a lot of stuff to move from the other shop, including my
free-standing 8x10 loft and all my mowers-
MORE AMSOIL ON THE LEFT!!!

My truck is pretty happy, she gets to stay inside for a few days while I still have both shops- 1st time in 3 years that she's inside overnight!:)

Yeah, my Dad bought that in 1977 when he went off to college. The speakers still rattle the windows!

Are you spending the night in your shop or what lol. How can the truck stay and you go?

Lawn Enforcer
12-29-2008, 03:29 AM
Yeah, it gets pretty loud when I'm hanging out in there:laugh:

The place is pretty secure, dead-bolt on the service door, heavy-duty sliding padlock, 3 security cameras on that side of the building, the owner checks the doors every night/morning, the cops check all the units on their routes, good lighting, in a residental area, and I live close by.

I live like 50 yards from the shop-but I do plan on staying the night sometime soon!

That's a great set up for that price. Do they have larger units? $100 per month will get you a large closet in Atlanta.

I've been putting it off but I think I'm gonna call a storage place or two here in town and see if they have anything or would be willing to barter.

That is a sweet looking shop. I want to move up to a place like that but for now I will stick with my free barn that has no lights or electric. LOL. All the storage places here dont have electric outlets or air in them. Great find.

That is insanely cheap! I am in a extremely rural area and I rented a space that size with no power, air, heat or anything just empty space when I was moving and it was $165 a month!

Lawn enforcer, are you an Amsoil dealer, or do you use all that oil that's on the shelves in those pictures? Great looking shop.

Nice shop, seems like a killer deal. You are missing some things though...couch, tv, fridge, microwave.

Lawn Enforcer
12-29-2008, 01:18 PM
Thanks for the compliments guys!

This is the biggest unit they have, they have 3 more 12x30 shops, and then some mini-storage on the other side.

I'm not an Amsoil dealer, I just use it for everything- 3 mowers, 2 motorcycles, my truck, my Dad's Jeep, my brother's Jeep, my Mom's car, I use the 2-cycle oil, their filters, everything. I plan on becoming an Amsoil dealer this summer.

I've been waiting on this shop for 5 months, so I'm pretty excited.:)

And the TV, PS2, Mini-fridge, and microwave are still at the other shop

Thats really cheap, I just looked at leasing a similiar size garage with 4 outside spaces and it's $600 a month. $100 a month will get you 1 parking space outside around here.

Thanks guys!

I'm shocked that it's so cheap, because other places in town that are similiar are like $400-$600 a month.

A couch will be on its way this spring

But you guys have to remember, I live in a low-priced area, I can't charge $35 to do a standard residental lawn.

And, to the Viking country comment, NFC NORTH DIVISION CHAMPS!!!!

i went to look at storage places a week ago and a 10x15 with 2 small 3ft wide doors was 206$month and a 10x30 which is what i want (has one big door) is like 300$ a month, and the 10x15 was the biggest that they had availible so i just left.

I remember last year when you asked me for pictures of my shop. I bet you'd never thought you would have a nice shop a year later.Looks good. Get some snap on tools in there!

Btw: A couch is cool until you are using an angle grinder and start the couch on fire. My dad keeps telling me to get mine out of the shop. Gonna do that soon.

Lawn Enforcer
02-23-2009, 10:15 PM
Yeah, I'm all moved in and I love it! I'll try to get some pics up soon.

I would like to get a nice set of tools from Snap-On or Cornwell so I have at least one good tool of everything.

That is great man, is there some type of paper work you signed saying you get to keep that rate as long as you are renting it? I hope so, just so they don't try to jack the rate up on you.

1 year rent agreement @ $100 per month which includes electricity. I was in another shop with this same place and they didn't raise the price any of the 5 years I was there. They are good people and won't raise it dramatically on us.
