Looking for thoughts on this root grapple: http://cgi.ebay.com/81-ROOT-GRAPPLE-BUCKET-Skid-Steer-RAKE-fit-BOBCAT-ETC_W0QQitemZ250343635018QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSkid_Steel_Loaders?hash=item250343635018&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1308%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

The rakes themselves look pretty heavy, the thing I dont like about it are the actual thumb things (the pieces that move) dont look to heavy, and kinda constructed crappy..
I bought one of these instead of a root grapple.

I thought it would be more useful than a root grapple and for my uses I was right. I use for handling rocks and demo as well as handling trees and logs. Very heavy duty.

It looks just like my solesbee. Buy a used one at a local dealer and save some $$$. I bought mine 2 years ago for $1500.00 not a beauty queen but it works well.
