price seems a little steep i just bought the same mower in a 52" with 28 kawa for 8,000 otd last spring brand new your mower should be around 5-5500 it is a lazer z-as classic smaller front tires little lower and i'd be interested im always looking for a good deal in the winter

well last i checked an as with 60" deck 25 kohler was $8000 plus tax and mulch kit and your at around $8700. i went with deducting $10 per hour used = $1450 that would come to about $7250 im looking for $6850 but it's up to you. if you want a $5000 mower this aint it when i see them selling for that with 700-1000 hours or more. good luck in your search.

was bored today so i went to the dealer to get some prices they are selling 08 models for $8949 on sale now for $8499. so i think my price is fair. by the way there demo units were in terrible shape with only having like 15 hours on them. anyway prices have gone up

prices must really vary by state because as stated for the 4th time here in michigan where i am located they are on sale for $8499 for an 08 model plus tax and a mulch kit and it would run $9200 and once they go off sale as we get closer to spring the price will be $8949. so if you live in michigan you might be interested in my machine or you might want to travel 1000 miles and get a real good deal on a new one. again if interested pm me

Yours is an AS, which is the "entry level" no frills model. His is a standard model with the liquid cooled option that makes it worth even more. And...is listed at 6k, or best offer-maybe he would take 5k for his, if someone offered it:)

JB1 has a lazer Z 2004 23hp Kaw with 1387hrs or so for $3800 so depending on model and year $6000 seems high to me for a mower with over 1400hrs on it. Like I said you have a nice mower with low hrs and if you can get what your asking great for you. I was just saying for a little bit more money you can buy a new mower with warranty that has the same size deck and bigger engine.

regarding my mower the exmark with 143 hours. if in my area the mower sells new for $8500 plus mulch kit and tax =$9200 i really want $6700 so your saying that $2500 off with only 143 hours is insane? i dont think so at all i realize this is not a giveaway price just very fair. i have heard a good rule to go by for determining the value of a used mower is to deduct $10 per hour so if i deduct $1500 off the $9200 that would come to $7700. i realize that would be too much but at $6700 i think im being reasonable. but to each his own

This mower is barely used, in great shape, and the motor isn't hardly broke in, yet. remember, this may be the AS model, but it is a larger motor, and has the Ultra-Cut deck. You know darn well that the soindles, casters, hudsros, clutch, struts, and other wearing parts aren't even BEGINNING to show signs of use, yet...let alone wear.
