YES, Gopher has some "quirks" but it tracks a lot of info.

Pick a software that has support. Gopher no longer has it!

Yes it is good for any lawn/landscape company, been using it for 9 years.
And yes they have support thru email.

what are some of the "quirks"?

Does anyone use that barcode reader?

Is that only for a pda ?

To me that's not support !!

Well then pay more, 3-4 times more and get some "person" on the phone.

I have almost 1200 customers and the only issue I ever had was Vista.

It was resolved.

Never used the barcode reader.

Use gopher for lawn maintenance, billing and scheduling, lawn fert billing and scheduling, landscaping, deliveries, snow, etc etc. I think it cost me 200. Long time ago.

That baby prints out all your invoices at the end of the month and everything?

Ya, it does that, you can enter times for jobs to keep track of them yourself, you can create separate invoices for customers or you can generate all the invoices for specific categories (ie: monthly billing, daily billing, etc). The main thing that I have to complain about is that the Invoices aren't majorly customizable, don't get me wrong, I think they're about as customizable as anything else (ie: other billing software), I would just like more. You can schedule a route, etc. In my opinion, it's a good program.

ya I am going to get something like that for this year. I want to add an additional 60 accounts and won't be able to do the route by memory anymore, at least not at first.

The only issue I have with Gopher now is no spell check.

Another thing, I can schedule as many crews as I need. New customers can be added to a specific route, specific billing etc at the time they sign with you. After that it is pretty much on Auto. Good Luck
