price check on isle 1

i need to get a price check on this mower, it is a scag 48" hydro with a 14 kohler, a grass catcher, and a 1 wheel velyke. it is a New mower but it is a "hold over" from last year . all of the above is priced at 4600.00 out the door.

dont run scags, so i dont know prices extremely well. however, in our newspaper last week, a local scag dealer had a 48" hydro demo unit without a velke for $4,199.00. so price doesnt sound ba to me.

maybe you could talk them down a couple hunded. who knows?

That sounds ok. I got a new 36" belt-drive, no velke, no grass catcher, 13HP Kohler for $2600.

there was a 48 hydro at my dealer last yr it had a 1 kawi twin on it i believe and it was $4700 no bag or sulky. that had a fixed deck but the advantage deck. the new floating deck advantages hydro 48inch 17 twin kawi recoil start are $5300 and about $100 for a catcher and $200 for sulky. sounds like a good deal to me
