How long have you been with your current provider?
How often do you compare companies?
I have been with mine for 12yrs and have never shopped the coverage around. He has been good. I have had 3 claims (2 property damage & 1 stolen machine) and never had an issue with payment or red tape.
Should I keep paying or look to see if I can get the same coverage with someone I am not familar with for less.
What do you guys do? Any good or bad stories with shopping or switching insurance companies.
Question? You guys with multiple trucks are you getting any discounts? I have 4 trucks and I am paying the same price for each truck.

IF your happy and you like the guy, why change a good thing??
Really took the time to review my overhead this winter and I am trying to trim all the fall off for 09. I was surprised how much I have been able to reduced some of my costs without losing anything. And I have not shopped insurance yet and I am on the fence if I should or not so I decided that I would ask fellow small business operators what they do? And if any of them that have, if they had anything either good or bad to say about it.

Well it never hurts to shop around, I've had a great experience with my Agent, an American Family rep. I previously had Farmers and wasn't too pleased with the service. I have since shopped around at State Farm and Allstate but they couldn't even touch the Prices I'm currently paying with American Family. I'm sure you'll find cheaper companies out there, but I'd rather do business with a local agent who's only a phone call or small drive away.

Doesnt hurt to shop around but sounds like they are decent if they always take care of you. But you should def. get a discount on 4 trucks we have 4 and we get more discount as we add to our fleet. We use Indian Insurance for vehicles.
