Well guys, finally did it. I bought Tracking Systems for each of the work trucks. I'm tired of worrying what the guys are doing during the day, how many extra stops they are making, the speed they are driving, how long they take for lunch, the roads the choose to get to properties etc... Each truck will have a module and antenna installed in the cab behind the dash. The employees will not know they are there for atleast a month while I determine how honest they have been with me.

I can check the history for each truck through my laptop, cell phone, work computer, or home computer. I will also have a feature where I can send them directions through the software to the nextels I have given each truck driver. Also, my insurance will go down because it allows me to track the trucks if they were stolen etc..

Anyone else have this yet?

Who did you use and what was the cost? How many trucks? Keep us up to date on if it was worth it. Good luck

I went through InsightUSA and got their streeteagle. http://www.streeteagle-gps.com I found out about this company because the regional sales manager lives a few doors down. I bought 4 units for now, each are $450. The monthly service is $35.

I will let you know how I like them.

I was just checking out their website and the reporting that they offer doesnt seem to be as advanced as it should be for monthly fees that start at $35. Also their advanced features are actually very basic GPS tracking features. If all you are looking for is 2 minute locates and a history, there are devices that are much cheaper.

NeroGPS, the $35 per month is a flat fee that includes taxes etc.. Most of the companies I checked into were $25, $30 etc per month, but they also had additional fees and would also charge for history reports and other things. The Streeteagle includes unlimited everything for that price.

I also have a local rep that lives down below me, he will answer any questions I may have so that also makes it easy.
