Hey, new to the forum and really impressed with the wealth of info on this board. Looking to buy a new small landscape trailer 77"x12 with the weedeater racks, and box on the front. Found what seems to be a really good deal over in Houston for 1500.00 but wanted to check and see if any local or closer guys have the same or similar deal. Thanks in advance

Bill

It might be a good deal if it is in good condition, otherwise you can buy a new trailer and dress it up yourself for about the same price...maybe cheaper

its brand new, O8' model, has the 2ft. expanded metal sides as well, shopped everybody in Baton Rouge, Gonzales, and Port Allen and the best I've found rigged out the same is around 2200.00. Found a couple for around 1500, but they were just the basic trailer without the extras. I'll look up who the dealer is, I don't remember the name. It would be a full day to go and get it but for that price it may be worth the drive.

Scagguy, just curious, how much are you asking for yours?

I bought mine from them, they are great and I can not complain at all about the price, they beat others by a few hundred. I had an inside source there and that also helped.

thanks for the leads guys, I'm gonna give these places a call in the morning and see what they can do.

Scagguy, that is a fair price but a little bigger than what I'm looking for. Thanks for the offer though.

Did you have them add anything to the trailer? Robert and Beau are both great and helpful. Trailer was ordered and came in in about a week with the weedeater rack installed.

I got a 77"x12 single axle with the 2ft. expanded metal sides, the 2'x2' landscape basket in the front with weedeater racks for $1550.00 They beat everybody around Baton Rouge by at least 400 bucks. I was going to drive to Texas too but was only going to save 50.00 by making the drive.

Just picked this up $1100 (trailer) Its a Diamond Central out of Texas, bought from Stringers in picayune, MS
YES, they had plenty of cheaper ones out there but my mower weights 1100 pounds, this is my personal equipment, not in the biz so this is the perfect size for me.
