I need some help with a catchy ad i going to meet with the reps from the three local papers im in a small town and there are five other ad running i'm trying come up with a catchy line thanks wes

Dang, you had me swimming with "news papper".
I looked for about a minute before I realized you were trying to say newspaper.....
Dude if you're meeting with three newspaper reps, have them come up with some ideas for ya. They usually have art departments in charge of that stuff.

make sure to use the word "free" everybody will read it to see what is free

Wow, 5 others. Be glad your not up against 45-50 like I am.
Toss your logo in and some bs about free estimates within 24 hours.
If you need any quality help, just go look at craigslist. Tons of "great" examples there.

I personally don't like the "catchy" lines in ads. Makes them look cheesy to me. Use a dignified slogan and make yourself look like a professional and I think it will draw more attention from serious prospective customers.

I went with one paper it will run 80 times twice a week from march to dec with a half a page once a month all for $600. what do you guys paid?

That sounds like a good deal. I pay $60/month for a business card size ad that runs twice a week. I hope it does well for you. What slogan did you decide on?
