I am currently in the market for a ZTR. I have a 48" Ferris comfort control hydro walkbehind. It lays some nice stripes. So i need something that stripes as good, if not better!!! Stripes are very important to my customers. I have been considering Dixie chopper Classic, Extreme and Xcalibur. Along with Wright Zk, Hustler Super Z, and maybe even a Ferris Ztr. I was looking at the 3100Z from Ferris, any other good ztr models? wich is best? I do alot of houses right now, but want something tthat is versatile on both resid. and commercial. PLEASE PLEWASE PLEASE post some stripe pics of any of the mowers mentioned. There will be snow on the ground until atleast March here in Iowa, so i wont be able to do any demos, or atleast cut any grass wile demoing. Im gona go to the dealers sometime in the next few weeks, and drive some around. But i want some stripe pics to make me forget about the cold weather!! Already done snow removal 6 or 7 times, and its just beggining!!! but i gota make that money!! Thanks everyone, and please get me some pics!!!!!

I appreciate it

Ben

I like those stripes from the super Z very nice, thats what i need!! keep those pics coming guys!!!! Im sorry if i am going to offend anyone, but what is the big fuss about Walker?? I dont think that they leave good stripes at all!! They leave squigly lines down them. I dont see how they are the BEST like everyone says. Just my opinion though, sorry Walker guys, they just arent for me

hey how do you guys get such good stripes...I have a 2005 bobcat and it doesnt stripe that well, would pitching the deck help. Also is there any special kind of blades that leave good stripes and how high do you guys mow?

Thanks
Ryan

Thanks!

One thing someone should mention is that stripes have as much to do with the operator as the machine being used. Also the grass type, angle of sun, time of year, and so on...

These pics are not of a lawn but of some of the field at my house. I used to brush hog all this, but now I just mow it every so often with the Z. The Super Z can stripe anything pretty well. This grass is cut some times with the deck all the way up and in the transport position. Its rutted really bad and has huge holes and rocks all over the place. It looks pretty decent considering
