I used the goslide and for the price I'd go with that. The plates on both seem to wear down to fast if you mow alot. I had to replace the wear plate four times last season, and I used the proslide xt wear plate on my goslide. The goslide doesn' retract automatically, but folds up easily, and you can actually go in reverse if you do it carefully, other wise you just step off and step back on.

I've used a Proslide for about 4 years now. I think it is great, just be careful if you go down a hill. Mine seemed to slide towards the machine quickly if I tried to stop quickly, better to step off and walk a little. Yea the slide plate wears out but is replaceable. But what doesn't wear out and need replacement. Put it into a budget and you have it covered or don't ride it on the sidewalks a streets for extended life. It glides great, retracts up and away when you need to step off for the tight spots, an doesn't drop into holes like a wheeled sulky might. I'm going to by another for my other mower! But that's just my opinion of course. :clapping:

The only thing going for the proslide is that it increases the color in striping and is very compact on the trailer and stored out of the way. Other than that i do not like them. They swing to wide wich makes it hard to get close to a house or rocks without swinging into it. When you stop you slide under the mower which could potentially be very very dangerous or result in amputation. I prefer Jungle Wheels or nothing.
