guys ive been thoroughly disapointed in my search for some new
estimating/contract/lawn care software
i found 1 that seemed to fit my needs QXpress platinum-
but with a $1280 price tag-- i think not for now

so im trying to design a new estimate off QB for now-
this is just a rough draft give me some ideas
thanks
josh

well this is what ive finalized on
i'll be sending this as a renewal form this year
and see how it goes
seems a little easier + faster doing it thru QB instead of
typing a WORD doc.

I am in the process as well as to designing an estimate carbon copy sheet. I think what you have there looks good! Just my 2 cents...

That looks good Josh. What version of QB do you have? And how do you create that document with it?

thanks for the replies,
its qb pro 08- but most of the newer ones are similar
in customer center select create estimate, make a duplicate of the existing estimate in qb,then rename the duplicate so you can identify it, and
use the customize button or layout designer to set it up as you like.

ya i hate upgrade time = $$$
i switched from QB 03 this past year

they kinda forced me to cause the email
function stopped working and intuit offers
no support for versions over 5year

phast- on the plus side CC processing is one
step and simple in QB 08- if you use it

Did you have any compatibility issues? Any problems at all?
What improvements do you like best?
