From bare frame to what you see in done pics took 2 months working on it about 30 hours a week, so around 240-260 hours.

I did another jeep with a steel body and 4 banger over 2 years ago, wasnt to the extent I did the yellow one though.

That's bas a$$. I love old jeeps. I had a 79 cj7 and my dumb ass sold it for no reason. Do you have pictures of what you started with? I didn't check that other link. Good job and nice jeep, love it.

my mechanic has that same jeep and its sooooo much fun to drive, horrible on gas but a blast to cruise in and off road

Thanks for all the comments guys, I am already itching to do another project, just finished doing a walker over for a friend in the trade. Didn't do a repaint but I went right through it mechanically, new gearboxes, GHS blower, filters, fluids, nick nacks....

that honcho will be great. Chop the fenders get better axles along with a Chevy 350 EFI and some 40's an you'll be set.
