I'm thinking putting a sign on my trailer gate but I'm not sure of a few things...placement, what to put on it, colors, etc...
Thanks everyone

Sounds like you need someone to draw up some examples.

Really though, you need to figure what you want for a business image, such as colors, and then go from there.

Get creative.

How does yours hold up? I've been playing with the idea of putting one on my open trailer, but I'm concerned that it would look like crap over time. I'm just wondering how yours or others have held up. My tuck and enclosed trailers are already lettered up, I just wasn't sure about the back of the open trailer.

I would like to know who the girl is that help you out.

Also how do you attach them (signs)?

studio420tx@yahoo.com: Her name is Cory. Shoot her an email, let her know
Jim sent you. They do good work. Correspond threw email and send you the files necessary to take to your sign guy.
We attached it using several rows of stainless steel screws.

DLAWNS: Sign holds up great. It is pvc board with vinyl laid over that.

Are there flow-through-type signs as that location would impede air flow...esp on the hwy. Needs to be a REAL strong backboard and attachments as well I imagine. Great location for advertising purposes, though. Would motivate me to put my trailergate up at all my stops!

This is on the rear of our Mits. Fuso. sign is 4x6. It was $135 to have it made at fastsigns. Its a billboard for sure. Make sure you attach it well.

Which fastsigns did you go to? $135 total for design and to be printed? What areas do you cover?

Fastsign in Bridgeton. 135 only included having them print on vinyl then apply on the pvc board.
