I was looking at getting some t-shirts and hoodies with my company name on it. I desinged some very simple stuff on CustomInk.com, but for how many I would need for just myself, a couple of my buddies that help me out once and a while, and a couple for my gf to wear around (if i could convince her to do that lol)it would be like $17 a shirt and like $40 a hoodie!!! order, the cheaper it gets, but I really do not need boxes and boxes of tshirts laying in my basement. I do realize that the more youI'm not so sure I would be willing to spend that much on shirts that are just gonna get ruined eventually. I know having apparel with your company name on it looks very professional, but is it worth that?

Basically, I was juut wondering what you guys pay for shirts and if you really find paying for them to be worth it. Thanks.

I agree with All Season Lawn Care, the prices that he said were right around what I pay for mine. I would purchase locally. You would be amazed at how much extra work you might pick up. I've done so much work for my vendors. If you would rather purchase online, I would suggest looking for a few other quotes as those prices seem a little high.

I would probably get around 20-25. I get plenty to wear for myself for working plus a few extra to keep nice (just to wear around). Get like 2 for each of your buddies and a couple for the girlfriend. This should leave you with a few extra for family and friends. Believe me everyone will start asking for them. I think they are very worth it because they make you look so much more professional and when you have people wearing them all over town it helps with name recognition.

when you supply shirts and hats you avoid torn/ripped and offensive clothing plus it looks professional if group looks the same.

For just tee shirts you could go to vistaprints.com, the shipping is expensive unless you are willing to wait a couple of weeks for the shirts to arrive, but the cost of the shirts is cheap, they also run deals from time to time where you can order 50 dollars worth of stuff and shipping is free, they got alot of stuff too, shirts, hats, vehicle magnets, yard signs, business cards, etc, etc

Another plus to using a local printer is that if you get on their good side, they'll print anything you bring to them. Then you can go to your local workwear shop and get the good stuff, then just have them printed. We bought some nice Carhartt Vests for plow season and had our guy print them. Plus, turnaround is much shorter since the printer is in the neighborhood. We have also got some business from ours, we are plowing his homes and he keeps our logo in the shop for all to see. Finally, if you pick the right printer they can supply everything for you.. our printer does our invoices, flyers, holiday cards, workwear, and even our vinyl truck lettering. Can't get more easy!

I also recommend VistaPrints. They can carry your message/logo through all types of things and they have good pricing.

I also looked into Customink, and I also thought that they were kind od spendy for an online store.

I also say go with the local guy for this. Mine charged a $25 setup fee the first time, and a 24 article min. Now I can get what I need with no setup fee and no minimum order. The prices are very reasonable also.

Queensboro. You get a free Standard embroidery logo setup with a four piece min. Sales all the time. I have all my shirts made there. T shirts usually sell for $6.95.
