Beach Property Experts?

I just recently purchased beach property in Cape May, New Jersey. The house is across from the beach and I am wandering what type of plants, tall grass etc would help w/ the overall feel of the property. Can you please advise...

Try going to your local Gardening Center and ask about local types of Bamboo, dune grass, ferns and orchids. that is all I can think of. Anyone else have more ideas?

Anybody have any design suggestions or preferred plants to use?
Has anyone worked with houses near the shoreline?
